Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Humaniq LLC (“Humaniq,” “we,” “us”), operator of AlphaSpy (the “Service”), collects, uses, and shares information about you. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your email address, and, if provided, your name or username and password (stored only as a salted hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email, and profile identifier) from Google.
  • Billing information — when you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We receive limited information such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card, but not your full card number.
  • Usage and device data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, feature usage, and timestamps, which we use for security, rate limiting, and improving the Service.
  • Cookies and local storage — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account;
  • process subscriptions and payments and prevent fraud;
  • enforce access tiers, rate limits, and our Terms;
  • respond to your requests and provide support;
  • analyze usage to improve features and reliability;
  • send service-related communications (and, only with your consent where required, product updates).

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example, Stripe (payments), our cloud hosting provider, and authentication providers (Google) — limited to what they need to perform their services;
  • Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Humaniq, our users, or the public;
  • a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to authenticate you, maintain your session, and remember preferences. We do not use these to sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may limit core functionality such as staying signed in.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EU/EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA), among others, have specific rights. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below; we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
